The Cityline Church of Gibraltar was recognised as a charity by the goverment , the 1st of february of 2007 with the register number 185, with the final purpose of helping those in need and to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In June the 1st of 2008 an event took place in our church to hand the money that we raised with our charity, together with our church cityline in new jersey, for the construction of the orphanage and woman´s refuge house, that is organised by REMAR Maroc, near tanger.
For this event our pastor joshua rodriguez from new jersey came to give the amount of 9,282 pounds, of which around 1,100 were raised here in gibraltar and the rest by the people of the Cityline USA. From REMAR they came ro recieve the donation from Sevilla, the responsable of the area of Andalucia, Francisco Gomez, and from Tanger, the responsable for the orphanage proyect, Antonio Montesinos. This meeting was out in the local media, by the Panorama news paper, that asisted the meeting and also by the Gibraltar Cronicle.
We also want to recognise the contribution made by the Seruya employees, which gave in an amount of money collected by their charity events, for this proyect.
